The Council is committed to maintaining your confidence
and trust, and accordingly maintains a privacy policy to protect personal
information you provide online.
Basic Confidentiality Policy
Personal information such as your name, and e-mail
address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Accordingly,
the information you provide is stored in a secure location, is accessible only
be designated staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provide
the information.
As a volunteer or donor, your personal
information may be added to appropriate Council mailing lists so that you can
receive agency newsletters, invitations to events and other announcements with
agency information. If at any time you would like to remove your name
from the Council's mailing list, or correct your personal information, please
contact the Council via email or telephone.
No Release of Information to Third
PartiesPersonal information will not be released to
third parties unless release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial
or government investigations or proceedings.
No Computer Tracking of
Identifiable InformationOur computer is not set up to track, collect
or distribute personal information about its visitors. Our web site does
track information about the number of visits to our web site. This
statistic is used internally to help determine how to make the public more
aware of our programs and services, but contain no personal information and
cannot be used to gather such information.
